As of last week I turned the tender age of 33 and I have been so blessed to do so many things in such a short period of time. Looking back I plan to do so much more.
I called off from work (as everyone should do on their bday). Then, I enjoyed my children when they got out of school. Immediately after that I put on my suit and tie to get ready for a relaxing and elegant night with my wife. I haven’t done fine dining in years so I deciding to google some of the places nearby and I went on to this place here. I don’t say this often, but the food was breath taking. I ordered a great shrimp dish along with some spinach and some great bread. My wife ordered scallops and the best tasting combination of mushrooms and onions. Finally, to finish things off I went on to have some dessert (something else I rarely ever do when I eat out). But, it was for free and how could anyone ever refute a free birthday cake? And it wasn’t any type of cake it was the Alaskan. Don’t ask me, you are just going to have to find it out for yourselves. All I know is that it had ice cream, a black raspberry crust with some sort of pastry and jam cooked into it and I just can’t say anymore. We stuffed ourselves and we really had to force down that cake. Needless to say, we didn’t finish the cake nor the food.
Finally, I did something that I needed to do for years and that was to get a new laptop. Why so long? I just thought there were more important things to spend such an enormous amount of money on. But, my wife supported me and now I more happy than ever with the outlook of my writing career.
So all in all, I would recommend that anyone who has a birthday coming up to be brave and have courageous fun. You won’t regret it and I can’t thank you all enough for what you have done for me. So every birthday make sure that you enjoy it; no matter the cost. I’m sure that if you look back 30 years from now, you won’t think to yourself “I wish had worked those few extra hours on that day”. What you will remember is what you did on your birthday and who you spent it with.
