I’m very excited for the end of this year and the beginning of the next. I have so many new books in store and a couple of pen names that will be sure to bring some new excitement to the literary world. I also have a couple of book tours in mind that should be a lot of fun. There’s no time like the present to get going on what you have hoped for. The first book of the new set is entitled, ” Just A Little Thirsty”. It’s not your typical bachelor’s tale. It deals more on the preparation in his life for the step that he actually yearns for….marriage to someone who he truly could trust his life and investments with. There are so many people who he thinks that he should be hooking up with, but to his chagrin it ends up being someone who is just not on his checklist. Nor does she his criteria. Without playing any spoilers, it really displays how these women who pursue are more turned on by his commitment to himself and his God. He knows that he could easily take advantage of these women, but he’s already been there and done that. There are a few funny scenes in this piece that are guaranteed to make you smile, laugh, and cry all at the same time.
But, back to Dion’s preparation for marriage, he has a marriage bed in his house. It’s one of the most immaculate rooms that one could ever lay eyes on in his home. The bed has never been touched, the covers never changed, and it is dusted every day by his butler; chef; and chauffeur every morning. He refuses to be physically intimate with any woman unless he is married. His intentions are not to lead on any of the women that he meets, but women can be women and the emotions will cause some to act “unwifey like” in order to get what they want. Dion has a very strict regimen of discipline that is very difficult to break. Not that it can’t happen, but it is very unlikely. As we know all disciplines are to be challenged and something has to give somewhere.
In this tale we learn about Dion’s hurtful past, the origins of his standards, and the success of his business. We also learn that to be eligible, doesn’t mean that we make ourselves just eligible for anybody. Below is the full book cover designed by Hot Book Covers out of New Jersey.
